1% For the Planet
1% for the Planet exists to build and support an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet. CoolMom is a 1% for the Planet nonprofit that can receive donations from 1% members.
1% for the Planet is a growing global movement of 1369 companies that donate 1% of their sales to a network of 2,372 environmental organizations worldwide.
In an effort to keep things simple, 1% requires that environmental organizations, such as CoolMom, receive their donations directly from member companies.
1% lets them work together to determine how much—and at what point during the year—money is received. Fostering these relationships is beneficial to both parties as they work together to make a difference.
1% for the Planet does not serve as an intermediary in this process. 1% just ensures the Earth is the ultimate beneficiary.
